Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Operating Leverage is a forward-deployed AI workflow consultancy. We design and ship production AI workflow systems for companies. Our website is operatingleverage.org.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it. This includes:

  • Contact and booking data: name, email address, company name, and any information you share when booking a call via Cal.com or submitting a contact form.
  • Application data: name, email, CV, cover letter, and any supporting materials submitted when applying for a role via Google Forms.
  • Language preference: a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE stores your preferred language (English or German) when you click the language switcher. This is a functional cookie with no tracking purpose.

We do not collect data through passive tracking, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics unless explicitly stated below.

3. How we use the data

  • To respond to enquiries and schedule calls.
  • To process and evaluate job applications.
  • To remember your language preference across sessions.
  • To fulfil any contractual relationship where applicable.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Applications and hiring data

Applications submitted through our careers page are processed via Google Forms and stored in Google Drive. Data is retained for the duration of the hiring process and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of future opportunities, unless you request deletion earlier.

5. Booking and contact data

Calls booked through our site use Cal.com, which processes your name, email, and scheduling information. Cal.com’s own privacy policy applies to that processing. We retain booking records as long as they are relevant to our business relationship.

6. Cookies and language preference

We use one cookie: NEXT_LOCALE. It stores your language preference (value: en or de) and is set only when you explicitly click the language switcher. It expires after 12 months. No tracking or analytics data is stored in this cookie.

7. Analytics

We do not currently use any analytics service. If we add one in future, this policy will be updated and any analytics will be implemented in a privacy-preserving manner.

8. Third-party services

  • Cal.com— appointment scheduling. Data processed according to Cal.com’s privacy policy.
  • Google Workspace— application forms and document storage. Data processed according to Google’s privacy policy.
  • LinkedIn— if you click through to our LinkedIn page, LinkedIn’s own privacy policy applies.

9. International data transfers

Some third-party services (Cal.com, Google) may process data outside Switzerland or the EEA. Where applicable, transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. We only use providers that offer adequate data protection.

10. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Booking and enquiry data is retained for the duration of any business relationship and up to 24 months thereafter. Application data is retained for the duration of the recruitment process and up to 12 months thereafter.

11. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Request data portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
